  • Made in Japan
  • Details:  A very nice size teapot, it has  a unique design, it was made for the members of The Order of the Eastern Star.  The teapot has one large multi-color center star with the initials OES and small gold stars all around the body, a beautiful brushed gold rim and other gold accents on the handle, spout and lid.  There is an internal strainer on the spout. The OEL is an extension of Freemasonry, open to both men and women, established in 1850 by Rob Morris, a noted Freemason.  There is a backstamp:  "Lefton China, Hand Painted, Reg U.S. Pat Office 2725"' this stamp was used from 1949-1955.  Excellent gift for a teapot collector or Lefton collector.

  • Dimensions:  5.5 inches Tall, 8.5 inches Wide (spout to handle).  Holds 3 cups (24 oz)
  • Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Very Good Condition. There is a little bit of wear on the gold knob on lid.  There are no scratches, crazing or chips on this piece.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and imperfections.
