  • Pattern:  Vintage Enamel Teapot / Kettle, Robins Egg Blue, EMO-Frite, Metal Teapot, Collectible, Tea Lovers, Farmhouse, Country Style, (Discontinued)
  • Made in Yugoslavia
  • Vintage: 1940's - 1950's
  • Details:  This is such an adorable kettle / teapot, looks very "country farmhouse".  A beautiful Robins Egg Blue enamel and the lovely vintage shape makes it a great piece for kitchen decor / display.   The lid is attached to the teapot by a small chain so you will never lose it.  The bottom is marked with the EMO-FRITE logo, Made in Yugoslavia and a #14.  There are condition issues, this piece is for those who love the primitive, rusty, crusty vintage look and not those looking for perfection.  Please see below, best suited for decor/display or as part of a collection.  It will make a wonderful statement in a vintage country style kitchen.
  • Materials:  Enamel
  • Dimensions:  5.0 inches Tall (not including handle), 5.5 inches in Diameter (at its widest point, base).
  • Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Good Vintage Condition.  This teapot is over 70 years old.  There are dark spots on the bottom, the handle and the lid rim.  There is rust on the underside of the lid and lots of wear on the white enamel inside the teapot.  We did not notice any dents.  Handle does not stay up on its own.  We feel these are acceptable due to normal age/use/wear.  We strongly suggest this piece be used for display/decor only.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear  and imperfections.

EMO Frite was founded in Celje, Slovenia in the 1920's, when Slovenia was still part of Yugoslavia.  From 1928 to 1930, the factory started to melt frits according to German recipes.  Originally only manufacturing frits & enamel pieces for their own customers, they eventually used their knowledge and experience to manufacture for other companies and today they supply enamel worldwide.
