- Details: A wonderful Open Sugar Bowl from Spencer Stevenson in very fine, translucent bone china and a rare find. We could not find the name of this pattern but it has wonderful large roses, one pink, one white, surrounded by smaller flowers in blue, yellow and pink. This is a rare find as this sugar bowl had a very were only made for a very short time. Of course, this makes a pretty sugar bowl, but we love these little bowls for so many uses at the table and around the house: for sauces, dips, jams, or on the night table to drop jewelry, or in the office to corral paper clips or small items.

Spencer Stevenson & Co was first established in 1948 as Stevenson, Spencer & Co in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. They manufactured bone china. The "Royal Stuart" name was a trade name they introduced in 1951. Manufacturing stopped in 1960.
