Vintage: 1950's - 1960's
Details: A very practical serving spoon, most likely a mustard spoon with a curved handle and hook on back to allow it to rest on a jar rim. The hook is strategically placed so the handle does not get messy. It is marked, "... Plate", the hook is covering the beginning of the word, however, towards the bottom there's a tiny "12", which typically means 12 DWT, so it is almost certainly an indicator of silver plate. This is a very useful serving spoon, the bowl looks like that of a mustard spoon, (the bowl on a mustard spoon is always elongated to form a scoop, like this one), however, we think this spoon will be useful serving many condiments, and olives, capers, etc. We have 4 in stock (while supplies last), all in similar condition (see last picture), if you would like all 4, please contact us for a 10% off code.
Material: Silver plate
Dimension: Approx. 6.0 inches Long, (if it was straight). Since it's curved, it is approx. 2.5 inches at the curved portion and 3.5 inches for the straight portion.
Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. As with all used silverware pieces, there are several surface scratches, dots and spots, all acceptable due to age/use/wear. All four spoons available are in very similar condition (see last picture). Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.
