  • Details:  This playing deck is from the Doral Ryder Open (1962 to 2006) and a very rare find.  It is an estate sale find, from a playing card collector, not vintage but over 20 years old and in great condition.  This is a sealed double deck in it's original plastic case.  Since we can't see the cards, we are going by the tournament name and the Joker to help us date it.  This is the Gemaco joker, prior to the brand name being added to the joker card.  The Doral Open changed its name to the Doral Ryder Open in 2002 when Ryder Cup Europe, became the tournament's sponsor. Perfect for any playing card collector, or a golf memorabilia fan.

  • Dimensions:  Cards: 2.25 inches x 3.5 inches.  Case: Approx. 5 x 4 inches 
  • Condition:  Previously Owned - Unused.  Excellent Condition.  Pristine, no issues on the cards, sealed, never been used.  There is slight wear on the case, acceptable due to age/use/wear. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show scratches, wear and tear and imperfections. 

Gemaco began making playing cards in 1965, they are based in Blue Springs, Missouri.  In 2014, Gaming Partners International acquired Gemaco, which was later purchased by Angel Playing Cards of Kyoto, Japan. 

The Doral Open was a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It was played from 1962 to 2006, on the "Blue Monster" course at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Doral, Florida, now known as Trump National Doral Golf Club.  The tournament name was changed in 2002 to Doral Ryder Open when the Ryder Cup became the sponsor.  Some of the great golf names that played at Doral include:  Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, , Greg Norman, Ben Crenshaw, Nick Faldo, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, and Tiger Woods
