Details: This deck was made for the British Overseas Airways Corporation, better known as British Airways. It has a beautiful stylized design of world landmarks, we recognize Moscow, London and Sidney among others. Remember the days when airlines gave playing cards to keep you entertained? Well in 1978 airlines were deregulated and competition increased, as well as costs, so eventually they stopped giving out playing decks, now they are collectible. This card deck came from a collector's estate sale, it has never been opened, sealed with original cellophane. The box ha been opened, does not have outside cellophane wrapper, however, it is in good condition. Perfect for any playing card collector, a retired airline employee, someone who remembers the good old days of flying, or for the pure pleasure of playing with vintage cards.
