RELPO - Was the acronym for Reliable Glassware & Pottery Co. They were a sales division of the Samson Import Co., an importer located in Chicago, IL. Samson was founded by Samuel Krivit in 1933, and Relpo was started by his son, Jerome.Feb 10, 2008. They imported ceramics from Japan, lots of kitsch looking items like salt and pepper shakers, vases, and planters, but also Middle-America decorative items like lady head vases and figurines. All are very still collectible today.
