This is a very pretty set of placemats. The beauty in these is in the simplicity of the pattern. It is done by hand, in cross-stitch, forming a large flower on the left with a really nice scalloped stitched border and stitched accents all around the center. These are not bright white, they are an egg-shell/off-white color with beige flowers, very neutral. These are machine washable, will most likely need to be ironed. Beautiful on a breakfast table or any time of day. Also great used as doilies under long vases or platters.
