- Pattern: Antique Glass Pitcher, EAPG, Embossed Flowers, Blown Glass, Floral & Ribs Pattern, RARE, Collectible, Molded Glass, (Discontinued)
- Made in the USA
- Antique: late 1800's (estimated)
- Details: This is a very unique pitcher, we've tried to find one like it but were unable. It is definitely molded blown glass, three mold blown glass with lots of texture. There are beautiful embossed florals, leaves, ribs (lines) and some very unique "dots". The applied handle is also blown glass has a very pretty shape and curled end. The shape looks perfect for juice, or even for mixing a martini, but we believe these were originally sold as syrup pitchers (that's a lot of syrup). Unfortunately we could not find the manufacturer, however, through research that the largest producers of glass at the time were: Boston and Sandwich Glass Co and New England Glass Co, but this one could also be Stiegel Glass. We learned that three-piece molds were used from 1815 to 1835 in midwestern houses, could be as late as 1870's. We are not experts we've taken lots of pictures to help you make your own determination.
