Details: This beautiful pendant is an Italian Micro Mosaic Glass Pendant. This one features miniature flowers made from tiny pieces of glass in Purple, Red and White, bordered in Orange, White, Black and Yellow. It's a highly detailed piece, we think it started it's life as a brooch, and has been modified to hang as a pendant. The casing is brass and marked: Made in Italy. We know these became popular as jewelry starting in the late eighteenth to nineteenth centuries, this one looks like a later piece, most like 1940's. The chain was on it, we'll leave it on for you but it's not valuable. These are highly collectible and make beautiful jewelry statements. Wonderful, unique and timeless accessory for your jewelry collection.

Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. The back looks as if it was modified from a trombone clasp brooch, to now hang as a pendant. A couple of the flowers on one end have sunken a little. As expected with old metals, the back has light surface scratches from wear/storage, acceptable due to age/use/wear.
