Marked Made in Czechoslovakia, this is a genuinely old piece of Christmas glass craftsmanship, conservatively dated to the 1920s–30s based on its pontil mark and glass style.
A treasured heirloom-quality ornament for a serious collector.
Czechoslovakia was one of several Central European glassblowing centers producing mouth-blown Christmas ornaments in the early 20th century, working in the same tradition as neighboring Germany's Lauscha glassmakers. Figural pieces like this Goldilocks required a skilled glassblower to shape the figure freehand before hand-painting each detail.
