Details: A RARE find, these vintage amber glass table lamps are a wonderful piece of history! These lamp bases were made to look like original oil lamps of the 1800's, and Westmoreland is known to have made these reproductions in the 1930's. We have included other tell-tale signs to help in determining their age. These are molded glass, they have a two-mold mark that indicates they were potentially made between the 1840s and early 1900s. Of the two lamps, one looks like it has updated electrical (circa 1940s - 50's?), the other is much older. The electrical plug on the older lamp is round, two-prong plug, not polarized with screws and wires visible. The socket is from "Arrow H&H", (Arrow-Hart & Hegeman - H&H merged with Arrow in 1928). The other lamp has a newer plug and a non-branded switch. We don't recommend using either lamp unless professionally rewired. These have the lean, amber glass bodies, with six point bases, made by Westmoreland starting in the 1930's. These are timeless lamps, a beautiful addition to any decor style from: Traditional, Boho, Country, Farmhouse, Victorian or Retro, they work very well with all. Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There are no chips or scratches on glass. Cords and plugs show lots of wear as acceptable due to age/use. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND HAVING THESE REWIRED BEFORE USING. Harp and lamp shade are not included. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.
