  • Details:  These oversize Chinese immortals are really beautiful!  There is so much intricate detail and fine workmanship on these, we don't really know where to start.   You'll just have to review all the pictures to draw in all the details, but let's just say, the beautiful faces, the hand painted details, the robes, the gold work, it's all just gorgeous!!  These are very tall, over 14 inches.  These are unmarked so we're unable to tell you much about the manufacturer. There is a condition issue, please see Condition below.  These figures are known by many names like: The three star gods, The three wise men, Fuk, Luk, and Sau, The Immortals, The three sages, Fu Lu Shou, perhaps more.  Whatever you call them, they are displayed in millions of homes, shops and offices around the world to enhance good fortune, prosperity and health.  To the Chinese they represent the three attributes of a good life: prosperity, status and longevity.  The perfect addition for a Feng Shui home.

In Feng Shui these figures can be placed in the living room, dining room or office, never in the bathroom or kitchen, nor in front of a window.  They should be placed facing the entrance of the room.  Always at eye level, never place them on a low table, you should not look down on the Three Star Gods. If you're not into Feng Shui, then any place where they can be admired is perfectly fine.   Fu Xing -  Fu is the star god of happiness, prosperity and good fortune. Fu is the bringer of good luck. Lu Xing - Lu refers to salary and thus he is the star god of social status. Lu gives blessings when taking difficult exams and competing for the best high paying jobs. This is all about great career success, authority, fame and fortune.  He's also been associated with helping childless couples finally have children. Shou Xing - Xing is the most loved of all the star gods because everyone wants to lead a long, happy life.  He is often called the “Old man of the South Pole”. He carries the peach of longevity and a staff. He represents good health and longevity.
