Craftsmanship from the American Brilliant Cut Glass (ABP) era speaks for itself, whichever of the two likely makers actually produced this set.

  • Maker: Attributed to McKee Glass (Innovation line)
  • Pattern: Innovation 410 - 6-Petal Flower & Cane, Sawtooth Rim
  • Materials: Pressed and hand-cut glass
  • Origin: Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA
  • Era: Antique, circa 1918
  • Dimensions: Creamer ~3¼" tall × 6" wide (handle to spout); Open Sugar ~3" tall × 7" wide (handle to handle)
  • Condition: Excellent antique condition — no chips or cracks; manufacturing flaw in creamer (trapped speck, internal); minor base wear (photographed). Heavy glass, weight reflected in shipping. Please review photos closely before purchasing, as all sales are final.

Pressed glass, deeply hand-cut, to create a six-petal flower and cane motif, a sawtooth rim, and even a cut flower on the base. We believe this set is McKee Glass from their “Innovation” line, though the elongated shape gives some pause, as Innovation pieces tend to run chunkier and more rounded; the pattern is an exact match for the Innovation 410 pattern. A heavy, substantial set that rewards close inspection.

A stunning find for the ABCG/ABP collector or anyone who appreciates the apex of American pressed and cut glass artistry.  A set to elevate your morning routine or delight guests.

The American Brilliant Cut Glass period ran from 1876 to 1917, and pieces from its final years, like this one, represent the style at its most technically accomplished before the era ended.
