We'll sell at random, unless you are a collector and Contact Us with a preference.  The Barnum Hotel opened in 1928, see below for a brief history.  Swizzle sticks make a wonderful addition to use in your bar, or display en masse as decor, and this one has a great story to go with it. Price is for ONE swizzle stick.  The bright pink plays well for Spring and Summer cocktails, a baby shower, a circus themed event, and other fun parties...and you know what they say about seeing Pink Elephants!  Great gift for a swizzle stick collector.

Built in 1928, and originally named Hotel Beach, (after Frances E. Beach), the owner changed the name within the first year to "Hotel Barnum", after P. T. Barnum.  This was a 14 story tall, Art Deco style building.  The Pink Elephant was a cocktail lounge inside the hotel where they said "....Bridgeport's nicest people meet for refreshing drinks from the bar and tasty snacks from the grill".  Years later it became a residential hotel and then became an apartment building known as the Barnum House.
