Condition: Vintage - Used. Good Vintage Condition. This is the original 1953 release. It is in good condition considering its age, issues mostly on the outside covers. Both sides are worn, back is lightly faded, and the front inside cover has a child's name, written in ink. However the inside is in very good condition. The pages are starting to yellow due to age, and there's slight folds at the corners, but there are no tears, missing or loose pages nor other damage besides the extensive wear. Pictures are the best way to access a book's condition. The last few pictures we've zoomed in on areas of concern. Little Golden Books are generally intended for children ages 3–5, but they can also be enjoyed by older children who are just starting to read, generally 5 and up. We never want to crease the books by fully opening them, this is why you'll notice the pictures are not always straight.
