Champagne / Low Sherbet, Libbey Canada - Clear, Footed, Set of 3

• Vintage:   Unknown, this pattern is very old, but still being produced
• Description:  This is a set of 3 Libbey low sherbet / dessert cups, pressed glass, footed cup.  Featuring the ever-popular 6-paneled cup design, perfect for ice cream, sherbet, pudding and other desserts and fruit cups.  In a pinch, they can serve as champagne glasses too.  We also carry a set of 4 of these cups, a little older, made by Libbey USA.  They are very similar, but slightly different when seen side-by-side, however, if none of this is important to you and you need more than 3 glasses, you can mix them, no one will notice.  The bottom marks are different, we've added pictures to show the two marks, see last two pictures.  If you need more than 3 cups, please feel free to browse the set of 4 from Libbey USA.

• Dimensions:  3 1/8 inches Tall, 3 3/8 inches in Diameter. Holds 4.5 oz
• Condition:  Used - Very Good Condition.  There are no cracks, chips or scratches except for normal wear and use.  There are some very minor manufacturing issues such as a tiny air bubble in one, but does not affect the look.  There is no cloudiness at all in any of these glasses.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are USED items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show scratches, wear and tear and imperfections. 

The Libbey Glass Company we know today started in 1892 in Toledo, Ohio.  However, Libbey has a long history, going back to 1818 in Massachusetts as New England Glass works.  It wasn't until 1878 when William L. Libbey leased the (by then out of business) New England Glass Works company that the name Libbey was added, and it became New England Glass Works, Wm. L. Libbey, Prop.  It was renamed the Libbey Glass Company in 1892.  Today the company is owned by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. The Libbey Glass Company division, which still makes tableware, operates at its original site in Toledo.
