Details: Truly original casserole made by Krischer Metal Products Co for their brand, "Creations by Rodney Kent". This casserole is item # 5411D230 and it was described in their catalog as a Large Family Size Casserole. These were all handcrafted aluminum pieces with the sweetest tulip and ribbons design as the finial. The handles also have nicely crafted flowers in the center and the ribbons form the handle. This is a footed casserole, which makes it look even more elegant. We recommend using a glass insert if using it with food. NOT DISHWASHER SAFE, never place in dishwasher, today's detergents can stain the aluminum finish. Also, most collectors do not polish their pieces as gritty silver polishes or salt pastes rub off the finish. Pieces can be washed safely in tepid water and a few drops of a mild dishwashing liquid. Great for your next buffet and since it's metal, it can be left in a warm oven until ready to serve! Would make a very original gift!
