Details: These elegant, hand painted candle sticks, in the style of Majolica, can brighten any spot in your home! It is a set of 2, one is shaped like a pink Iris and the other, slightly shorter, shaped like a pink Tulip. These have all the tell-tale signs of Majolica: a ring around the bottom edge has been left unglazed; there are large, very visible brush-strokes; they are stamped "Made in Italy" and they are absolutely beautiful! But we are not experts, and we know TRUE Majolica is no longer made, but these are very well made, if only modern, Majolica style. Both bottoms are stamped: Made in Italy and one has an impressed stamp: Made in Italy BODA or BADA, hard to read. The perfect addition for any Italian ceramics collector, a beautiful gift for mother's day and makes a great home decor item.

Dimensions: Iris: 8.0 inches Tall, 3.25 inches in Diameter (base). Tulip: 7.0 inches Tall, 3.0 inches in Diameter (base).
Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There are three very small chips/nicks on the Iris petals and a rough spot on one of the leaves on the Iris, however, that one retains its green color, so we believe it's not a chip, just a manufacturing defect.
