  • Pattern:  Vintage Clorox Magazine Advertisement
  • Made in: USA
  • Vintage:  1940
  • Details:  This is a very old advertisement for Clorox from 1940.  The tag line is: "Important News for Housewives!".  It is a full page ad, in black and white from The American Home Magazine, July 1940.  The woman on the ad is holding the very retro looking Clorox bottle, we recently sold one from 1937 and can tell you they were actually made of glass with really nice embossed letters.  The other side has a half page ad for Alcoa Aluminum Windows.  This is an original page from the magazine, not a print or reproduction, the paper has miraculously not yellowed it's still nice and white.
