- Pattern: Vintage Water Goblets, Blue Kings Crown or Thumbprint, Vintage Drinkware, Blue Glass Drinkware, Set of 3 (Discontinued)
- Made in USA by Tiffin (U.S. Glass)
- Vintage: 1950's - 1970's
- Details: The ever popular King's Crown pattern, (also known as Thumbprint), offered here in the Imperial Blue color. This water goblet features the traditional ovals and zigzag markings of the Kings Crown pattern. There is a long history of this pattern, originally introduced by Adams Glass Co. during the late 1800's, called Excelsior. It became a very popular pattern and was copied by several other glass manufacturers, including Indiana Glass. We are torn between these being from Tiffin or Indiana Glass. The oval/elongated thumbprints (vs round on Indiana), plus the flared top rim (vs straight on Indiana), says they are Tiffin. We'll leave it up to you, if you're not a collector then none of this will be important. There are condition issues, please see Condition below for details.
