- Details: This is a very beautiful and old, bone china bread & butter plate, the pictures do not fully represent the beauty of this piece. The R.C. back stamp on this dinnerware goes back to 1933. It means Royal Crockery, a brand created for the India and Southeast Asian market, and registered in India. Used for the first time in 1933 and through approx. 1946. Although the RC mark was reused after WWII, it was called "Rose China", in conjunction with "Made in Japan".
