- Details: This is a sweet cup and saucer set, featuring the classic pink floral pattern called Desert Rose, introduced in 1941. Lots of pink roses with green leaves and the handle is made to look like a wooden branch, with a nice little divot for your finger to comfortably hold the cup. This piece is original Gladding McBean, (Interpace), from the 1960's, this one is marked 1964. Hand washing in recommended since it is old, it is not dishwasher safe, (it is oven safe), these are hand painted. This ceramic is not bright white, it's more of a beige / off-white color. The floral pattern is great for Spring and Summer get togethers! It's a great replacement if you've broken yours or are looking to add more cups and saucers to your set.
