- Pattern: "Pan Am Clipper Ship, White and Blue
- Vintage: 1978 - 1979
- Details: Remember the days when airlines gave out playing cards to keep you entertained? Well in 1978 airlines were deregulated and competition increased, as well as costs, so eventually they stopped giving out playing decks. This deck was made by US Playing Card Co (USPCC) for Pan Am. The Clipper Ship logo goes back in Pan- Am's history to the days when they had "flying boats" which were made by Boeing. The "314 Clipper" was an American long-range flying boat produced from 1938 to 1941. The ship on these cards is a modernized version of that logo. This card deck came from a collector's estate sale, although it has been opened, it is in really great condition, the box still retains the USPCC blue seal. It is complete with 52 cards each, and two jokers. Perfect for any playing cards collector, a retired airline employee, someone who remembers the good old days of flying, or for the pure pleasure of playing with vintage cards.
