- Pattern: Vintage Planter, Baby Nursery Planter, Napco Baby with Pink Baby Bootie, #S136A, Napco Pottery, Vintage Collectibles, Baby Gifts, Nursery Decor, (Discontinued)
- Made in: Bedford, OH
- Vintage: 1938 - 1945
- Details: This is an extremely RARE find, a very old, probably one of the original Baby Nursery Planters made by Napco. The realism of the baby's face and the quality craftsmanship and hand painting is not found in today's baby planters, not even if you go back 30 years do you find this quality porcelain planter. It was made by Napco, you can still see the outline of the old, original silver Napco foil label on the bottom, we didn't want to wash it off because we feel it's important, plus the series of numbers and letters (S136A), tells us it's vintage Napco. We believe this is NOT a Japan import, but rather made in USA. Perfect for a pink and blue baby shower! These baby nursery planters are highly collectible and Napco, Inarco, Relpo and Rubens are getting very expensive, selling for hundreds of dollars at auction. There is a condition issue, please see below.
- Material: Porcelain
- Dimensions: 4.0 inches Tall, 4.0 inches Long (at its longest point) and 3.5 inches Wide (at its widest point).
- Condition: Vintage - Used. Good Vintage Condition. There are no chips, discoloration or scratches, however there is a crack along one side of the bootie, it is not deep, and we don't think it deters from the beauty of the piece but it does affect the price, it's been priced accordingly. One in perfect condition can easily run $200-$300 dollars. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. All Sales Final. Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
National Potteries corporation (Napco) was started in 1938 in Bedford, OH. Napco started making their own ceramic wares like pots, flower vases and other containers, but after WWII began importing items from Japan like: glassware, pottery, and ceramic items. We believe this is one of their original, made in the USA pieces.
