This is a very pretty set of placemats. The beauty in these is in the simplicity of the pattern. It is done by hand, printed cross-stitch in Taupe, forming a large flower on the left, a stitched scalloped border and tiny dots stitched inside the border. It is finished with serged edge, also in Taupe. These are not bright white, they are an egg-shell/off-white color against the taupe, very neutral. These are machine washable, will most likely need to be ironed. Beautiful on a breakfast table or any time of day. Also great used as doilies under vases or platters.
