- Details: This is an original presidential campaign button from the 1972 campaign where George McGovern was running for President and Sargent Shriver was his Vice Presidential running mate. The button is marked on the side but we were unable to read what it says. These are old factory stock that were never used. Richard Nixon won a second term over McGovern winning the election in a landslide, taking 60.7% of the popular vote and carrying 49 states while being the first Republican to sweep the South. This pin is Guaranteed Original, but there is slight wear, please see "Condition" below.

- Condition: Vintage - NOS. Good Vintage Condition. Unused (Guaranteed Original). This is an original, old stock item, never been used, however, there is some scratching around the border and since the pin is dark blue, it is noticeable. The back pin has never been used so it's not bent. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.
