- Details: This set of coffee mugs has a very beautiful and ornate Imari pattern from Heritage Mint. Imari is known for it's busyness, colorful patterns and it's extremely eye catching, the colors on this set are so bright and beautiful, they are hard to resist. Many of the decorations are accented in gold, all have a gold rim and a gold accent on the handle. There is lots of significance and meaning within the decorations, if gifting, it would be fun to tell your recipient about the meaning behind the designs. see below. These mugs will delight any user especially if they love the oriental style.

- Dimensions: 4.0 inches Tall, 3 7/8 inches in Diameter (top opening), 2 1/8 inches in Diameter (bottom).
- Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Condition, no chips or cracks, or scratches. However, one of the mugs has a slightly "rough" inner edge, (see last picture). We've also noticed one of the mugs is slightly shorter than the others (by like 1/16th of an inch), and it's also narrower (by 1/4th of an inch), barely noticeable but we wanted you to know. Also, if you look at the bottoms, the smaller cup (far left), has an indented bottom where the other two are flat. Go figure, they are all from the same set and same maker. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.

The pattern features different flowers that symbolize beginning, abundance and rejuvenation. There is Seigaiha (or waves) which symbolize a desire for continued peaceful living, like the tranquil waves. Karakusa has twists and spirals, like vines. Due to the healthy growth of vines, this pattern came to symbolize luck, prosperity, and eternity. There is also a peacock on this mug, to the Japanese the peacock symbolizes good will, nurturing, and kindness.
