- Pattern: Vintage Golfer Mug, 1790 Blackheath Golfer, Mottahedeh, (Discontinued)
- Made in Portugal
- Vintage: 1989
- Details: These mugs have a design from a very famous painting by Lemuel Francis Abbott (L.F. Abbott), commissioned by William Innis, a wealthy London sugar merchant and captain of the Society of Golfers at Blackheath, England. The back has a beautiful brown eagle holding golf clubs with its talons. The handle is detailed, made to look like wood. These mugs had a very limited run, and are a rare find. They were made by Vista Alegre, a porcelain manufacturer in Portugal for Mottahedeh and were primarily used as commemorative mugs on a few different golf tournaments (the RJR championship is a known one), this mug commemorates the American Trophy Tournament of 1989. It is stamped on the bottom: "America's Trophy Tournament, 30 November 1989, Mottahedeh, Vista Alegre 1824 Portugal". Great gift for a golfer, collector of golf memorabilia or Mottahedeh lover.
