- Details: Very modern, retro looking bowl in the Basonge Pattern that shows black circles intertwined with gray loops. This pattern was manufactured starting in 1974 and discontinued in 1978, because of the short run, there is very limited stock and it's highly valuable. This is a rare find, these soup bowls were made by Narumi, never used, still in its original packaging. Can also be used as tabletop decor, it is large enough, (and pretty enough), to be used as a catch-all by the front door, in the vanity to corral small items, many uses. Narumi is the 1st Japan manufacturer that succeeded in mass-producing and exporting Bone China dinnerware to U.S.A.. They are the 2nd largest manufacturer/supplier of tableware in Japan. The 3rd oldest manufacturer of western style tableware in Japan. (since 1911). Some of the unique aspects of Narumi fine china are:
