  • Details:  This is an original copper media artwork by John Louw.  The Clydesdale horse drawn wagon is reminiscent of the classic Budweiser beer wagon and horses.  The entire piece is on copper, with added figures of horses and wagon.  The background scene is hand painted directly on the copper.  It is signed by John Louw, and dated 1998.  The piece is framed in a real wood frame.  A little western, a little vintage, really must be seen to be appreciated.  See below to learn a little about the artist.

  • Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Very Good Vintage Condition.  There are two small scratches on the copper, a scratch on the wood frame and a white scrape on the side of the frame, photographed for your review, (apologies for the glare).  All acceptable due to age/use/wear.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  All Sales Final.  Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections. 

John Louw is a uniquely talented artist from South Africa.  Born January 26th, 1949, he suffered a mountain bike accident at the age of 18 that left him paralyzed on all four limbs. A few years later he began to paint with the mouth. In 1987 he received a scholarship that allowed him to take art courses and graduated in 1993.  His passion is for landscapes, wild animals around Africa.  Today he lives in a small South African village, he continues his artwork plus he runs a home for homeless children.
