Details: Gorgeous iridescent marbled effect with blues, greens and grays, very beautiful. This design is exactly like the pattern from Hues N Brews (1992 - 2009), called HBX1, also made in Japan. However, our set is not marked Hues N Brews so we're just speculating that these could be from the same company. The cup handle is painted gold and so is the rim, the saucer has a gold verge and rim. Both pieces retain their "Made in Japan" sticker. Absolutely beautiful and very delicate, they have a sticker alerting you not to place in the dishwasher or microwave, and most likely should be hand washed to maintain the iridescent finish. This set will delight any user while sipping Espresso, Cuban, Greek or Turkish coffee. It would make a great gift for an espresso fan or demitasse collector!
