  • Pattern:  Vintage Decorative Plate with Kittens, "Freund oder Feind" (Friend or Foe) by Wolfgang Kaiser, artist signed. From the collection: "Adventures of Velvety Paws", Seltmann Weiden, Vintage Collectibles, Collectible Plates, Cat Lovers, Wall Decor (Discontinued)
  • Vintage: 1991
  • Made in Germany
  • Details:  This is a limited edition, fine porcelain collector's plate from Seltmann Weiden, part of a plate series by artist Wolfgang Kaiser called "Abenteuer auf Samtpfoten" (Adventures on Velvety Paws), and signed by the artist on the bottom left.  This plate was the fourth issue in the collection.  The firing was limited to only 95 days and this is plate #D1709.  The faces on these kittens are adorable!   The plate is pre-drilled for hanging with wire or you can use a plate hanger/stand.  It goes without saying, these are works of art and not to be used for eating or serving food, it contains metal pigments that could be toxic.  Great gift for anyone who loves cats.  Would make a wonderful addition in a child's room or powder room or any wall that needs a little fun and cuteness.  We carry other plates in this collection if you're interested in purchasing 2 or more plates, please Contact Us for a 10% discount.
