Details: Absolutely adorable chalkware birds in flight to decorate your home! These are extremely rare, set of two birds, still retain their bright colors, and hook on back for hanging. We believe these were made in Great Britain in the 1950s and 1960s because these makers registered their wares under the Registered Designs Act of 1949. An easy way to do this was to assign the registration number on the item at the back, with a small number stamp. These are all stamped with a number, therefore, would make sense they are English, but only speculation on our part, fun to learn about these pieces. Perfect for Summer display or as a unique touch in any room. Although there are many chalkware birds for sale, these older ones are very hard to find, a great gift for a chalkware collector!

Condition: Vintage - Used. Overall Very Good Vintage Condition. Most have a couple of very minor nicks / chips, the blue set more the others, all acceptable due to age/use/wear.
