- Pattern: Antique Butter Pat, Burlington Blue Pattern, English Antique Tableware, Antique Servingware, Blue & White Tableware, (Discontinued)
- Made in England
- Antique: circa 1880-1886
- Details: This antique butter pat is extremely hard to find! It is from Ridgways, a Stoke-on-Trent, England pottery. This is their Burlington Blue pattern, Registration #72235. The backstamp tells us this is an early piece. Starting in 1891, Ridgways added the name "England" to their marks, this one, without any place mark, dates from approx 1880 to 1890. But also, with the pattern registration number we can narrow it down even more, the number tells us it was registered before 1887. There's a lot of history in this little dish, a perfect addition to your earthenware collection! These make unique ring dishes, small soap dishes, or as intended, for serving butter.
- Materials: Earthenware
- Dimensions: approx. 2.5 inches Square
- Condition: Antique - Used. Good Antique Condition. The gold rim is mostly worn off, the pattern remains pretty much intact, no chips or crazing.
