  • Details:  This is a very old advertisement for Ganong's Chocolates, half page color ad from the 1940's and a very rare find.  The tagline is: "The Finest in the Land for over 80 years".  Ran as a Mother's Day Gift advertisement, it reads:  "To the best of Mothers", with two children gifting their mother a box of Ganong's Delecto chocolates.  Introduced in 1941, this box with a gold print featuring a gold coach and horses became became the iconic symbol on Delecto boxes. This is an original page from a magazine, not a print or reproduction.  Print advertisements are becoming harder to find as we move from print to digital. They are now highly sought after collectibles.

  • Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Excellent Vintage Condition.  This is an original page from a magazine, it is a used item, over 80 years old.  This one has already been trimmed at the borders, no issues noted. Ganong Bros. Limited is a family owned Canadian company, in business since June 5, 1873.  Originally making lozenges, lollipops and other candies, they released their first boxed chocolates in 1900.  The company is Canada's oldest family-owned chocolate company and still in business.
