  • Details:  This is an extremely rare, very hard to find, Falls City Beer advertisement.  It shows a gentleman with a white horse, he's clearly at the horse races as he's holding the racing newspaper.  The tagline is: " ...for fun pick the Popular one its Bitter-Free taste pleases everyone!"  This is a full page, full color ad from 1960.  The Falls City Beer logo bordering the entire page was the first ever logo, used starting in 1905 until 1978.   This is an original page from the magazine, not a print or reproduction, the paper has age toning (yellowed with time), but the colors remain bright.  The back has another full page ad for Raisinbread running a sweepstakes for trips on TWA that may also be of interest.
