- Details: This elegant set of two vintage towel rings feature a regal lion head design. The details on these lions is magnificent, even their eyes are so well done! Crafted from quality brass, these rings provide a perfect way to keep your towels neat and organized. Only one retains its original screws (need 3 on each lion), 2 are taped to one ring. Due to the weight and other characteristics, we believe these are solid brass, not brass plated. Unfortunately they are unmarked so we're unable to tell you more beyond the description. Please note: one ring is slightly (1/4th of an inch) smaller than the other The patina on these is just wonderful, not too dark, still a bit shiny, just like vintage brass should be. If you like shiny brass, then a good cleaning is needed, (we cannot guarantee how well these will clean up). Using a lion's head in decorating goes back as far back as early Greece and ancient Egypt, these will add an exquisite touch to your powder room, bathroom, kitchen, or anywhere you need a stylish way to hang towels. - Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. As expected with vintage brass, there are some dark spots and other marks, acceptable due to age/use/wear. If you like shiny brass, then a good cleaning is needed but we cannot guarantee how well these will clean up.
