Details: This chocolate set is a true work of art. It is a complete set which includes : the chocolate pot with lid, 6 cups and 6 saucers. They are all hand painted in a gorgeous moriage floral gilding, the workmanship is amazing, with yellow accents on the handles. The pot has a beautiful shape that flares towards the bottom and an ornate handle. We noticed this is not bright white porcelain, it has a grayish tone, it is very translucent. Every piece, except for the cups, have the Imperial Nippon stamp in teal. This set will be VERY heavy, please keep that in mind at checkout. This would make a gorgeous display in any china cabinet, and pure pleasure to use as intended, to serve and drink European style hot chocolate. Perfect for serving espresso, and other coffees that require demitasse size cups. Great gift for the Holidays, Mother's Day or your favorite chocolate lover!
