Details: This is a really pretty souffle dish in a colorful pattern called Evesham Gold by Royal Worcester. This is part of an entire dinnerware pattern that included not only plates, cups, etc., but also bakeware, servingware and many other items. Each piece has the same gorgeous bright white porcelain with colorful fruit and vegetables in different combinations, some have the gold rim, others do not, this one does. The outside has that wonderful "pleated" texture that is so traditional in souffle dishes. This is a very versatile pattern that can be "dressed up" for an elegant table or buffet, but with it's fruit pattern, it's perfectly at home in a country, farmhouse or more casual setting. It is stamped on the bottom: "Royal Worcester, Made in England, Oven Proof, Shape 45, Size 3". We love the look of this piece, it would make a beautiful addition on your dinner table, or on a breakfast buffet table, or simply as kitchen decor.
